Location
|
The villages in the eastern half of the bay of  Rethymnon linked up in recent years and now form an extended hotel suburb.
Sfakaki lies between two larger villages. In the East, it borders to Stavromenos where restaurants, supermarkets and other shops are open all-year.
Pighianos Campos and Adelianos Campos West of Sfakaki have some bigger hotel resorts and plenty of watersport facilites, but these villages close for the winter.

A supermarket and a bus stop are 200 meters from the hotel.
Public bus service once per hour to Iraklion (71 kms) and Hania (68 kms) as well as to Rethymnon (11 kms, during the season every 20 minutes).
Iraklion airport is 79 kms away, Hania airport 73 kms. With respect to the winding character of the motor highway, transfer times from and to the airports must not be underestimated.
